What is “green power”? Do you believe that we need to find alternate, environmentally friendly energy sources? How many possible ?green power? options did you find in your research? What were the options you found? Are any of these options being used today? Which, if any, do you feel are viable energy sources for the future? Why?
My energy supplier is offering options of staying the same (regular), going 50% green, or going 100% green. Going green is more expensive. Any advice?
I’d like to know the pros and cons of renewable resources- not individually, but as a whole. My class is having a debate on the topic of renewable/non-renewable resources and I want to build a cohesive argument.

Wind turbine setbacks still being debated by Huron East council
While a 9-1 recorded vote decided to change Huron East’s wind turbine setback in its zoning bylaw from 350 metres to 550 metres at council’s May 3 meeting, members of Huron East Against Turbines (HEAT) returned to council’s May 17 meeting to ask why their request to push the setback to 1,000 metres was not granted.
